PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This enduring activity will cover treating and managing patients with advanced Parkinson’s Disease.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This enduring activity is intended for US-based neurologists and primary care providers involved in managing patients with PD, such as internists, family physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech and language pathologists.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

On completing the program, attendees should be able to:

  • Describe the difficult-to-treat symptoms associated with advanced PD
  • Review the MOAs and clinical profiles of currently available interventional therapeutic approaches that can be used to personalize the management of patients with PD
  • Discuss the benefits of a multidisciplinary team-based approach to managing patients with PD
